This lot comprises two bicycle double-leg kickstands, also known as bipod stands, designed for centre mounting. Each stand features two tubular metal legs with a black finish, terminating in black textured plastic feet for stability. The legs are connected to a central mounting mechanism. One unit is fitted with a curved metal upper clamping plate and a hex-head bolt. The second unit features a flat metal upper plate and a countersunk bolt. Both units include their respective mounting plates and bolts. The legs are designed to fold away together when retracted. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on either item.
Condition report:
The kickstands show signs of prior use and environmental exposure. Surface scuffs and minor scratches are visible on the black finish of the legs (photo 1). The mounting bolt on one unit exhibits surface oxidation and light rust to the threads (photo 2). The plastic feet show minor wear from ground contact but remain intact (photo 1). Both units are supplied with mounting hardware. No original packaging or instructions are supplied.
