A vintage kick scooter, featuring a BMX-influenced tubular metal frame with a blue-painted front section and a chrome-effect rear section. The scooter is constructed with high-rise metal handlebars fitted with blue and white rubber hand grips and a front caliper brake system with a metal lever. It is equipped with two 12-inch, five-spoke white composite wheels fitted with pneumatic tires. The narrow foot deck is finished with a black and red patterned grip tape. The head tube bears a circular yellow adhesive decal with a black border, featuring a central black device and the text VAMPIRE. No other maker’s marks, signatures, or country-of-origin labels are visible on the object.
Condition report:
The scooter shows extensive signs of age, use, and environmental exposure. The blue-painted surfaces are heavily scuffed and chipped, revealing the underlying metal. Significant surface oxidation and pitting are visible across the chrome-effect sections, including the handlebars, brake lever, and rear frame rails. The white composite wheels and tires are heavily soiled and discoloured throughout. The rubber hand grips are weathered and show signs of perishing at the ends. The grip tape on the deck is worn, scuffed, and peeling at the edges. The mechanical integrity of the steering and braking systems has not been tested. No original packaging or additional accessories are supplied.
