Coins, Gold & Silver Bullion Auction
A contemporary fractional gold bar, of rectangular form with rounded corners. The obverse is struck with a classical depiction of Britannia in profile, wearing a plumed helmet and holding a trident alongside a shield emblazoned with the Union Jack. Legible inscriptions on the obverse include BRITANNIA vertically to the left, and WESSEX™ MINT positioned above the weight 1/200TH OZ and the fineness 999.9 FINE GOLD. A circular device contains runic-style characters resembling P and M above a triskele symbol. The reverse is decorated with a repeating diagonal cross-hatch pattern featuring a central circular device containing the same runic and triskele motif.

Condition report:
The bar is in brilliant uncirculated condition with no visible signs of environmental exposure, toning, or handling marks. The strike remains sharp with high luster across both the obverse (photo 1) and the reverse (photo 2). No protective capsule or original packaging is present.
