The reverse depicts the Queen in her wartime uniform standing in front of a military ambulance, positioned below a gilded numeral 80. The legend TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS runs along the lower rim. The coin is presented in a clear plastic capsule with an accompanying descriptive card printed with the text EIGHTIETH BIRTHDAY 2006 HER MAJESTY QUEEN ELIZABETH II SILVER PROOF COIN COLLECTION and SOLOMON ISLANDS EIGHTIETH BIRTHDAY SILVER PROOF CROWN 1926-2006. No other maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
Condition report:
The coin shows signs of environmental exposure and handling. The obverse displays light surface haze and a few fine surface scratches across the mirrored field (photo 3). The reverse features well-defined frosted devices, with a small area of peripheral toning visible near the bottom edge (photo 2). The gilded elements, including the rim and the numeral 80, appear intact. The coin is housed in a clear protective plastic capsule and is accompanied by the original printed card.
