Lot 92: A Collection of Belarusian Banknotes 1992 Series 25 50 100 and 1000 Rubles

A collection of paper currency from the Republic of Belarus, comprising various banknotes from the 1992 series. The assortment includes denominations of 25, 50, 100, and 1,000 Rubles. The notes are printed in a variety of multi-coloured pastel tones including green, blue, pink, and purple. The 25 Ruble note features a vignette of a moose and is inscribed in Cyrillic ‘ДВАЦЦАЦЬ ПЯЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ’. The 50 Ruble notes depict a brown bear with the text ‘ПЯЦЬДЗЕСЯТ РУБЛЁЎ’. The 100 Ruble notes show a European bison, inscribed ‘СТО РУБЛЁЎ’. The 1,000 Ruble notes feature the Academy of Sciences building in Minsk, captioned ‘ТЫСЯЧА РУБЛЁЎ’. Each note bears a printed geometric emblem in the upper left corner. The collection includes sequential serial number runs: 100 Ruble notes numbered АЯ 7575817 through АЯ 7575821 and 1,000 Ruble notes numbered KA 3188897 through KA 3188900. Also present are 50 Ruble serials AB 9049729, AB 9049730, AB 9049731, and AB 9049733, and a 25 Ruble note numbered AO 6032213.
