A vintage Tonka pressed steel dump truck manufactured in Toronto, Canada. The vehicle features a red cab and chassis with a yellow manual tipping dump bed operated by a metal lever on the left side. The cab is designed in the gas turbine style with a clear plastic windshield and a white plastic interior comprising two seats and a steering wheel. Each door is adorned with an oval red and white decal featuring the script Tonka logo and Toronto – Canada text. The white plastic dashboard is embossed with the Tonka brand mark. The truck is fitted with six wheels featuring treaded rubber tires and white plastic hubcaps embossed with Tonka lettering.
Condition report:
The truck is in used, play-worn condition. There is significant paint loss, chipping, and surface oxidation throughout, particularly visible on the interior and upper edges of the yellow dump bed and the lower sections of the red chassis. The plastic windshield remains intact but shows surface scratching and internal dust accumulation. The manual tipping mechanism is fully functional. The toy appears complete with all original wheels, hubcaps, and the operating lever.
