A pair of vintage collectible toy figures from the Ertl Thomas and Friends range. The lot includes representations of the characters Sir Topham Hatt and Harold the Helicopter. Sir Topham Hatt is a moulded plastic standing figure depicted in a black top hat, black morning coat with a white pocket square, yellow waistcoat, black necktie, and light grey trousers with black shoes and white spats. Harold the Helicopter features a die-cast metal body with plastic rotors and floats. The helicopter has a cream-coloured body with a grey three-blade main rotor and tail rotor, mounted on two large white landing floats. It includes a stylised face on the nose and the character name HAROLD printed in red capital letters on the side.
Condition report:
Sir Topham Hatt shows minor paint wear consistent with age, particularly on the hands, waistcoat, and top hat. Harold the Helicopter shows significant age-related yellowing and discolouration to the finish. There are various surface scuffs and small paint chips, most notably on the floats and tail. The rotors remain intact and functional. Both items are unboxed.
