The composition features a large multi-masted sailing vessel navigating choppy seas under a stylized sky with pink and yellow clouds suggestive of sunrise or sunset. To the right, a rocky cliffside is topped with a white lighthouse and a red-roofed building. The work is characteristic of mid-century hobbyist kits, displaying flat, segmented colour applications and distinct outlines.
