The vessel is crafted from fine bone china and features a globular form with twin scroll handles and a domed lid surmounted by a pointed finial. The exterior is decorated with a transfer-printed still life of fruit, including a large central peach, clusters of purple and green grapes, and red berries, set against a mottled yellow and green ground. Gilt accents are applied to the rim, base, handles, and lid finial. The base is marked with a black script backstamp reading C. A. Pottery Fine Bone China Made In Staffordshire.
