A white metal necklace featuring a three-dimensional pendant in the form of a trumpet. The pendant is detailed with a leadpipe, three valves, and a flared bell, suspended via a large jump ring. The instrument is represented in its entirety, with the valves positioned centrally along the main tube. The pendant is paired with a fine trace-link style chain. The surfaces are primarily polished but show significant darkening due to environmental exposure. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
Condition report:
The necklace shows signs of tarnish and oxidation across the surface of the pendant and chain links (photo 2). The oxidation is concentrated within the recessed areas of the valves and the interior of the bell (photo 2). The item remains in good structural condition.
