A wall clock, featuring a dark-stained case with a glazed front door and side panels. The architectural case is designed with a shaped pediment and a corresponding decorative base. The white circular dial is set with black Roman numerals I to XII and includes a subsidiary seconds dial positioned at the twelve o’clock mark. The movement is mechanical and weight-driven, visible through the glass panels, comprising two cylindrical metal weights and a pendulum with a large circular metal bob. A polished metal bezel surrounds the dial, which also features an outer minute track and black decorative hands. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
Condition report:
The clock shows signs of minor surface wear. Minor scuffs and light surface marks are visible on the dark-stained case (photo 1). The glazed panels and dial appear intact with no visible cracks or significant damage. The two weights and the pendulum are present; a winding key is not present. The mechanical working order of the movement is untested.
