A 1:18 scale die-cast model of a 1996 Jaguar XK8 convertible finished in metallic blue with a beige interior. The vehicle is part of the Special Edition series and features detailed interior components, five-spoke wheels, and a small Jaguar emblem on the front wings. The model is secured to a black display base within its original window box. A red and white printed Maisto logo appears on the lower-left corner of the box front and on the internal display label. A silver-toned adhesive label is affixed to the display base, printed with the words JAGUAR XK8 (1996). The lower-right corner of the box front is printed with the text Jaguar XK8 1:18. The top and bottom sections of the box front feature the words Special Edition in gold-coloured lettering.
Condition report:
The model appears to be in excellent, unused condition as viewed through the packaging. The original window box exhibits moderate shelf wear, with visible scuffing and whitening to the cardboard edges and corners (photo 3). The clear plastic window shows light surface scratching and an accumulation of dust, although it remains intact and well-attached to the box (photo 1).
