A UK 50 pence coin struck in cupro-nickel, issued as part of the London 2012 sports collection. The reverse features a design by Pravin Dewdhory depicting an athlete with a shotgun aiming at a shattering clay pigeon. The London 2012 logo is positioned at the top centre, with the denomination 50 PENCE inscribed along the lower edge. The heptagonal coin is secured within a clear plastic blister on a colour-printed presentation card. The card displays the text London 2012 sports collection and Shooting in black stylized lettering against a teal and magenta geometric background. A silhouette of a shooter is incorporated into the card design, and the official London 2012 logo is printed in the lower right corner.
Condition report:
The coin is in brilliant uncirculated condition, showing full original lustre and no evidence of contact marks or wear (photo 1). The presentation card is in excellent state, with sharp corners and no visible creasing, fading, or damage to the plastic blister.
