A signet-style ring constructed from 925 silver. The ring features a circular, flat face decorated with an incised stylized foliate motif, appearing as three radiating lobes. The shoulders of the ring taper down from the face into a simple, slender shank. The interior of the shank displays markings that are not legible from the image provided. The metal surface exhibits a heavy dark tarnish and patina throughout.
Condition report:
The ring shows significant signs of age and wear. There is heavy tarnishing across all surfaces and numerous small surface scratches visible (photo 1). The shank is slightly misshapen and is not perfectly circular (photo 1).
