A rectangular commemorative silver coin issued by the Solomon Islands in 2015 as part of a landmarks series. The obverse features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, with inscriptions reading SOLOMON ISLANDS, HALF DOLLAR, and 2,5 g FINE SILVER 999. A diamond-shaped mint mark for Leipziger Edelmetallverarbeitung containing the letters LEV is located at the bottom. The reverse depicts a cityscape of Sydney, Australia, featuring the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge, with a small globe in the upper left corner and the inscriptions 2015 and SYDNEY.

Condition report:
The coin is in fair condition, exhibiting significant irregular wear and deformation along the edges. Surface scuffing and handling marks are visible across both faces, with dark toning and oxidation noted within the recessed fields of the design.
