A 2025 Oklahoma series 1/2 Goldback note, produced by Goldback Inc. using the Aurum process. This specimen contains 1/2000th troy ounce of .999 fine (24 carat) gold protected within a polymer layer. The artwork features a western theme depicting a cowgirl on horseback herding cattle, with a branded steer in the foreground marked 1867. The face of the note bears several inscriptions, including OKLAHOMA GOLDBACK Negotiable Instrument at the upper edge, the Latin motto Honestas, and the biblical quote Whatever you do, do it heartily. The vertical serial number AY94643 is printed on the left side alongside a seal containing the year 2025 and the website Goldback.com. Legal text includes US Patent 8,266,039. Privately Issued. Not US Dollar Legal Tender. The lower margin specifies the gold content as 1/2000th TROY OUNCE 24K GOLD and states it is exchangeable by Goldback Inc. in US gold coin to bearer on demand.
