A 2017 silver bullion coin from the Somali Republic African Wildlife series. The obverse features the coat of arms of the Somali Republic, depicting two leopards supporting a crowned shield with a central star, positioned above two crossed palm leaves and a ribbon. It is inscribed with the legends SOMALI REPUBLIC, the split date 20 and 17, and the denomination 25 SHILLINGS. The reverse depicts an African elephant with its trunk raised in a savanna landscape, featuring a palm tree and a traditional hut. The border is inscribed AFRICAN WILDLIFE, ELEPHANT, and the weight and purity specifications 1/4 OZ Ag 999.9.

Condition report:
The coin exhibits visible surface wear consistent with handling, including multiple fine scratches and scuffs across the polished fields on both the obverse and reverse. There is minor edge toning and several small nicks present on the rim.
