A US 1885 Morgan silver dollar struck at the Philadelphia mint. The coin is composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. The obverse displays the Liberty Head design, while the reverse features a heraldic eagle design. The piece includes a reeded edge. The Morgan dollar series was introduced following the Bland-Allison Act of 1878.
Condition report:
Uncirculated. The coin exhibits bright white lustre across the surfaces. Visible bag marks and fine scuffs are present on the portrait\'s cheek and in the surrounding fields. The overall surface brilliance suggests the possibility of past professional dipping or cleaning.
