Coins, Gold & Silver Bullion Auction
A silver commemorative medallion produced by PAMP Suisse for HSBC as a twenty-year service award. The obverse features a relief depiction of a roaring lion head in profile facing right against a frosted field, with the inscription TWENTY YEARS SERVICE along the upper border and the HSBC hexagonal logo at the bottom. The reverse displays the HSBC logo and name followed by the specifications 40g FINE SILVER and Ag 999.0 centered below. At the base of the reverse is a small assay mark for the PAMP Suisse refinery, consisting of a circular logo containing three smaller circles next to a rectangular box containing the words ESSAYEUR FONDEUR. The medallion shows a proof-like finish with high-polish relief and sandblasted fields.

Condition report:
Extremely fine condition. The medallion retains bright original lustre with sharp strike details. A single vertical surface scratch is visible in the field on the right side of the reverse.
