This novelty 10,000 Yen banknote is a gold-foil-plated commemorative item produced to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Naruto franchise. The piece is modelled after a Japanese banknote and is constructed from a flexible plastic substrate coated in a 24 carat gold-coloured foil with embossed detailing. The obverse features a multi-character portrait including Naruto Uzumaki at the centre, Hinata Hyuga, Jiraiya, Kakashi Hatake, Sakura Haruno, and Rock Lee. It includes a specific 20th anniversary logo and a red stylised 忍 (Shinobi) character. Transcribed text on the front includes NIPPON GINKO, 10000, 10000 YEN, and 24K Gold. The reverse displays an illustration of Kakashi Hatake in a crouching combat pose, set against a background with a stylised floral emblem and nine smaller Shinobi icons. The reverse also carries the orange and red NARUTO logo, the serial number LUCKY 333333, and various Japanese characters for the Bank of Japan and currency denomination. Condition report:
The banknote is in excellent condition, showing no visible creases, surface scratches, or tears. The colour printing remains vibrant and is accurately registered with the embossed foil background.
