A set of eight proof-finish coins and one rectangular bronze medalet issued by the Royal Mint, UK. The collection represents the final pre-decimal proof issue before decimalisation in 1971. The denominations include a cupro-nickel Half Crown, a Two Shillings (Florin), two Shillings (English and Scottish types), and a Sixpence; a nickel-brass twelve-sided Threepence; and bronze One Penny and Halfpenny coins. All pieces are dated 1970. A rectangular bronze-coloured medalet is included, depicting the Royal Coat of Arms and inscribed ROYAL MINT. The coins feature mirrored fields and frosted devices. The set is housed in its original purple textured cardboard presentation folder with a clear plastic display tray. The lid is gilt-printed with the text COINAGE OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND 1970. This set is the final proof issue of pre-decimal coinage prior to the 1971 decimalisation of UK currency.

Condition report:

The coins are in brilliant proof condition, retaining original mirrored luster with no visible carbon spots or significant toning. The original purple folder and plastic housing are intact, showing only minor shelf wear consistent with age.
