A 2010 United Kingdom 50p cupro-nickel coin issued to commemorate the centenary of the Girlguiding movement. The reverse features a stylized repeating pattern of the Girlguiding trefoil logo, designed by Jonathan Humphreys, whose initials JH are incorporated into the design. The border bears the legend CELEBRATING ONE HUNDRED YEARS OF GIRLGUIDING UK with the denomination 50 PENCE to the right. The coin is housed in its original navy blue card presentation folder, which is printed with UNITED KINGDOM 50p in gold and white text. The folder includes an official security hologram label with repeating text reading UNITED KINGDOM UNCIRCULATED CERTIFIED BRILLIANT. The obverse, though not visible in the packaging, depicts the fourth definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley.
Condition report:
The coin is in brilliant uncirculated condition as issued, displaying full original lustre with no signs of circulation or handling wear. The presentation folder is in good condition with only minor shelf wear to the corners and edges. The security hologram remains intact and undamaged.
