A set of three oval proof coins issued by the Bank of Zambia in 2002 to commemorate the life of HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother (1900-2002). Each coin is struck in .925 sterling silver and features a photographic-style portrait on the obverse titled The Early Years, Coronation 1937, and An Enduring Presence. The borders carry the inscriptions HM QUEEN ELIZABETH THE QUEEN MOTHER 1900-2002 and A COMMONWEALTH NATION PAYS TRIBUTE. The reverse designs depict the Zambian coat of arms. The set is presented in its original red velvet-lined case with an accompanying specifications card identifying the alloy as 925 fine silver with a mintage of 25,000 sets.

Condition report:
The coins are in uncirculated proof condition, held within protective plastic capsules. The red velvet presentation case and the paper specifications card exhibit minor signs of handling and storage wear.
