Lot 178: An Assortment of Decorative Ceramics and a Metal-Rimmed Mesh Tray
An assortment of decorative and functional objects comprising a large oval tray, multiple pieces of porcelain teaware, two circular plates, an octagonal bowl, and a ceramic figurine. The oval tray is constructed with a metal rim and features a fine mesh insert decorated with a lace-patterned floral wreath to the centre. The teaware consists of porcelain cups and saucers finished with delicate floral sprays and grey patterned borders. Included are two hand-painted ceramic plates featuring floral motifs in the Iznik style, set against cobalt blue and turquoise grounds. The group further contains an octagonal twin-handled ceramic bowl with hand-painted floral and ribbon decoration, and a small polychrome ceramic figurine depicting a child within a wooden structure, bearing a mark to the base.

Condition report:
Surface crazing is present on the interior of the octagonal bowl. Minor wear is visible to the decorative borders and gilding of the porcelain teaware. The items show general light surface wear and signs of use consistent with age.
