Lot 175: A Collection of Four Vintage Ceramic Decorative Items Including Fruit Strainers and Plates
A group of four ceramic items featuring floral and fruit motifs. The collection includes a porcelain berry strainer bowl with a fluted, scalloped rim and gilded edge, featuring a transfer-printed design of a central pink rose and surrounding rosebuds. Also present is an earthenware handled fruit strainer with a cream glaze and a transfer-printed border of yellow fruit and purple grapes. A matching circular earthenware plate with the same fruit border design is included. The collection is completed by a porcelain plate with a lobed edge, decorated with asymmetrical floral sprays in pink, blue, and yellow with gilded scroll accents. No maker marks are visible on the upper surfaces of the items.

Condition report:
The porcelain rose bowl exhibits extensive fine-line crazing to the interior glaze and significant wear to the gilded rim. The handled strainer and matching fruit plate show minor surface wear and abrasions consistent with age. The lobed floral plate shows light rubbing to the gilded rim but is otherwise in good condition.
