A Masonic Provincial Grand Lodge regalia set for the Province of Cambridgeshire, comprising an officer’s collar and suspended jewel. The collar is fashioned from blue moiré fabric with a gold-metallic lace border and includes a gold-toned cord with two spherical sliding toggles. Attached by a metal clasp is an oval gold-toned jewel featuring a blue enamel central medallion with a sunburst pattern. This medallion is overlaid with crossed silver-toned swords, signifying the office of Inner Guard. The outer border of the jewel is embossed with the text CAMBRIDGESHIRE.
Overall length: 50 cm.
Condition report:
The item shows signs of previous wear. There is visible creasing and light soiling to the blue fabric, most notably at the neck area. The gold lace and cord remain intact. The metal jewel shows minor surface scratches and light tarnish. The enamel medallion is well-preserved.
