Lot 117: An Assortment of 7-inch Vinyl Singles
A group of approximately 50–70 7-inch vinyl singles, primarily spanning the mid-20th century from the 1950s to the 1980s. The collection encompasses various genres including pop, rock and roll, soul, and light entertainment. Notable labels represented include Decca, RCA, MGM, Capitol, Philips, and Epic, with several being identified as UK pressings. Identified artists and titles include Elvis Presley with Are You Lonesome Tonight? (RCA 1216), Val Doonican with Only the Heartaches (Decca F.11982), and Peabo & Roberta with Tonight I Celebrate My Love (Capitol CL 302). The lot features a variety of original company sleeves, such as the orange and white striped Decca sleeves and red and white RCA sleeves, alongside picture sleeves for The Commentators and generic paper covers.

Condition report:
Vinyl: Good to Very Good (G/VG) condition; surfaces show various degrees of use including surface dust, fingerprints, and visible light scratches and scuffs. Sleeves: Fair to Good condition; multiple sleeves exhibit heavy creasing, edge fraying, small tears, and areas of foxing or discoloration. Some sleeves feature handwritten annotations. Visible compression and edge-notching are present on several outer sleeves due to the stack being tied with string.
