A 925 silver bar brooch featuring a central decorative ornament in the form of a seated lucky pixie. The cast three-dimensional figure is shown clutching one knee and is decorated with translucent enamel including a green suit, a single red boot, and a pointed red hat with yellow detailing at the tip. The facial features and hands are rendered in silver with black-filled recessed details. The figure is mounted to a plain silver bar. A small rectangular recessed stamp is present on the bar to the left of the figure, though the characters within are not clearly legible. The reverse is fitted with a horizontal pin and a rotating safety catch.
Condition report:
The brooch is in good vintage condition. The translucent enamel is largely well-preserved with bright colour, showing only minor surface wear and small nicks consistent with age. The silver components exhibit a light patina of tarnish, especially to the figure\'s face and along the bar. The pin mechanism is straight and functions correctly.
