Lot 109: A Pair of Collins German Dictionaries including Second Edition
Two large-format hardcover bilingual dictionaries published by Collins (William Collins, Sons and Co Ltd). The first volume is the Second Edition and contains German-English and English-German sections. Its dust jacket is designed in red, black, and silver with text identifying it as the authority on current German and English. The second volume features a red and tan dust jacket with the circular Collins tree logo and specifies a content of 200,000 words and phrases. Both volumes are hardback editions with their original dust jackets.

Condition report:
Both volumes show shelf wear consistent with age and previous use. The dust jackets exhibit rubbing and minor creasing along the top and bottom edges. There is a small visible surface scuff on the red Second Edition banner of the first volume. Bindings appear structurally sound.
