A 1994 UK Brilliant Uncirculated Coin Collection issued by the Royal Mint. This set consists of eight denominations of coins presented in the original illustrated card folder. The collection includes a commemorative two pound coin marking the 300th anniversary of the Bank of England (1694-1994), a one pound coin with the Scottish lion rampant, and a heptagonal fifty pence coin commemorating the 50th anniversary of the D-Day landings. Further included are the definitive designs for the twenty pence, ten pence, five pence, two pence, and one penny. The coins are struck in cupro-nickel and bronze alloys. The packaging features a photograph of a Yeoman Warder and a silver-coloured portcullis graphic, while the interior is printed with a wave pattern and the word REVERSE. This set is sought after for the specific 1994 commemorative reverse designs.
Condition report:
The coins are in brilliant uncirculated condition with full original mint lustre. The card folder shows minor signs of shelf wear, including slight softening at the edges and corners.
