A United Kingdom commemorative £20 coin issued by The Royal Mint in 2014 to mark the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War. Struck in .999 fine silver, the coin features the fourth definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley on the obverse, surrounded by the inscription ELIZABETH·II·D·G·REG·F·D·TWENTY POUNDS. The reverse, designed by John Bergdahl, depicts Britannia standing on the deck of a naval vessel watching a departing fleet, with the inscriptions THE FIRST WORLD WAR 1914 – 1918 and the date 2014. The coin is presented in its original official card packaging, produced in partnership with the Imperial War Museums (IWM). This issue was the first release in a series commemorating the centenary of the conflict.

Condition report:

The coin is in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, exhibiting full original lustre with no visible signs of wear, handling marks, or toning. The original card presentation pack remains in excellent condition. The outer clear plastic protective sleeve shows minor creasing and light shelf wear consistent with storage.
