This collection of United Kingdom cupro-nickel 50 pence coins was issued by The Royal Mint in 2016 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the birth of Beatrix Potter. The group consists of multiple coins, each presented in an individual colour-illustrated card folder. The reverse designs feature character portraits including Peter Rabbit and Squirrel Nutkin, as well as a central commemorative design inscribed BEATRIX POTTER 1866 1943. The obverses depict the fifth definitive coinage portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark. All coins are struck to Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) standard with heptagonal formats and plain edges. The set is housed in an original white card slipcase printed with CELEBRATING THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF BEATRIX POTTER and The Beatrix Potter 2016 50p Coin Collection.

Condition report:
The coins are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition as originally issued. Some individual folders remain in their original plastic protective sleeves. The outer white card slipcase shows minor surface wear and exhibits scattered brown spotting (foxing) across the card.
