Coins, Gold & Silver Bullion Auction
A silver bullion round produced by the Scottsdale Mint, struck in 1/2 troy ounce of .999 fine silver. The obverse features the Scottsdale Mint signature crowned lion head logo, centred against a radial sunburst background and enclosed by a wide, notched rim. The reverse is dominated by a large central fraction 1/2 positioned above the word OUNCE. The round is inscribed SCOTTSDALE MINT along the top edge and ONE HALF OF A TROY OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER along the bottom edge, with three stars on either side.
Weight: 0.5 oz t (15.55 g)
Fineness: .999 Silver.
Condition report:
The round exhibits visible dark toning and oxidation, most notably in the recessed areas of the lettering and design elements. There are numerous surface scratches, contact marks, and minor edge nicks consistent with handling.
