A Cook Islands legal tender one dollar silver proof coin issued in 2005 to commemorate the bicentenary of the Battle of Trafalgar. Struck by The London Mint Office in sterling .925 silver, the reverse features a Battle of Trafalgar commemorative design with an integrated ship’s wheel housing an authentic copper inlay. The coin bears the inscriptions 200th Anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar, England expects that every man will do his duty, and the commemorative dates 1805-2005. The obverse depicts the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. Accompanied by the original black presentation case and a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Geoffrey Howard, Head of New Issues, serial number 06000031. Total mintage limited to 5,000 pieces.

Condition report:
Proof condition with mirrored fields and frosted devices. The coin remains housed in its protective clear capsule. The presentation case and certificate are well preserved.
