A United Kingdom silver one shilling coin dated 1914. This first type issue features the un-crowned obverse portrait of King George V designed by Bertram Mackennal, with the small incised initials B.M. at the base of the neck truncation. The reverse features a crowned lion guardant standing upon a crown. Struck at the Royal Mint in .925 sterling silver with a milled edge.

Condition report:
Circulated condition with moderate wear to the high points of the portrait and the reverse lion. Surface marks and a greyish-silver patina are visible. Fine.
