Coins, Gold & Silver Bullion Auction
An eight-coin collection issued by the Royal Mint, containing the definitive and commemorative coinage of 1986. The set includes a commemorative nickel-brass two pound coin with thistle reverse celebrating the XIII Commonwealth Games, a nickel-brass one pound with flax plant reverse, a cupro-nickel fifty pence with seated Britannia reverse, a twenty pence with crowned Tudor rose reverse, a ten pence with crowned lion reverse, a five pence with crowned thistle reverse, a bronze two pence with Prince of Wales feathers reverse, and a bronze one penny with crowned portcullis reverse. All obverses feature the third portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Raphael Maklouf. The coins are secured in a clear plastic insert within the original printed cream and yellow presentation folder.
Condition report:
Brilliant uncirculated. Coins retain full original mint lustre. The original packaging shows minor wear and light creasing to the extremities.
