A 1995 United Kingdom Brilliant Uncirculated Coin Collection issued by the Royal Mint. The set comprises a collection of coins including eight denominations: a commemorative two pounds, one pound, fifty pence, twenty pence, ten pence, five pence, two pence, and one penny. The two pounds coin is a commemorative issue marking the 50th anniversary of the end of the Second World War, featuring a Peace Dove reverse design. Other reverse designs include the Welsh Dragon on the one pound, Britannia on the fifty pence, a crowned Tudor Rose on the twenty pence, a crowned lion on the ten pence, a crowned thistle on the five pence, the Prince of Wales’s feathers on the two pence, and a crowned portcullis on the penny. The coins are struck in nickel-brass, cupro-nickel, and copper-plated steel. The collection is housed in its original Royal Mint blue cardboard presentation folder featuring gold-leaf lettering and a Union Jack die-cut window.
Condition report:
The coins are in brilliant uncirculated condition, exhibiting full original mint lustre. Very minor natural toning is visible on the copper-plated denominations. The presentation folder is well-preserved with only minimal shelf wear to the edges.
