Buyer's Premium:

A pair of vintage Prinzlux Spacemaster binoculars with 8×30 magnification. Prinzlux was a brand historically retailed by the British photography firm Dixons, and these binoculars were a common fixture in the United Kingdom market during the mid-to-late 20th century. The instrument features a black textured body, likely finished in vulcanite or a similar composite material, with metal components including a central focusing wheel and an adjustable right eyepiece. The shoulder plates carry printed identification marks. The left plate is marked PRINZLUX SPACEMASTER 8×30, and the right plate is marked COATED LENS 393 FT. AT 1000 YDS. A small circular white sticker with the handwritten number 93 is applied to the left plate. The optics are described as coated for improved light transmission.

Condition report:

The binoculars show signs of significant use and age. There is visible wear and loss to the black paint finish on the metal components, particularly on the edges of the objective lens housings and the eyepiece rings. Dust and surface grime have accumulated in the crevices and around the lenses. The original neck strap is missing and has been replaced with a length of knotted blue cord. The mechanical movement of the focusing wheel and dioptre adjustment appears functional, though they have not been professionally serviced. The internal optical condition and collimation have not been tested.
