A hand-carved solid hardwood tripod pedestal stand of vernacular or folk art design. The circular top features a scalloped edge and a central cutout in the shape of a trefoil or shamrock. The stand is supported by three outward-sloping legs, each heavily decorated with a hand-carved notched or ribbed texture throughout its length. The wood is finished with a dark stain that highlights the natural grain. There are no visible maker marks, signatures, or labels on the piece.

Condition report:
The stand is in good antique condition with characterful wear consistent with age and use. There are visible surface scratches, scuffs, and minor indentations to the top and edges.
