A 1988 Royal Australian Mint uncirculated set of coins issued to commemorate the Australian Bicentenary (1788-1988). The collection comprises bronze one-cent and two-cent coins; cupro-nickel five-cent, ten-cent, twenty-cent, and commemorative fifty-cent coins; and aluminium-bronze one-dollar and two-dollar coins. The fifty-cent coin features the First Fleet ship design, and the two-dollar coin depicts an Aboriginal Elder. The set is presented in the original yellow card folder with a pictorial cover illustrating a historical harbour settlement. The coins are secured within a clear plastic insert.
Condition report:
The coins are in uncirculated condition and retain full original mint lustre. There are no visible signs of circulation, handling, or significant toning. The original pictorial card folder shows minor shelf wear consistent with age but remains in good overall condition.
