A Royal Mint UK nickel-brass commemorative two pound coin issued to mark the 1996 European Football Championship. The coin is housed in its original green card presentation folder titled A Celebration of Football. The front of the folder features an illustration of two football players and a gold-printed circular seal inscribed UNITED KINGDOM BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED £2 COIN and the reference UKF2BU 1/1996. The reverse of the folder provides a historical record of European Championship final results from 1960 to 1992 and bears the Royal Mint logo and address for Llantrisant, Pontyclun. The entire set is contained within its original clear plastic protective sleeve.
Condition report:
The coin is in brilliant uncirculated condition as issued by the mint. The presentation folder is well-preserved with sharp edges and no significant wear. The outer clear plastic sleeve shows light surface creasing and minor handling marks consistent with storage.
