A commemorative medal from The London Mint Office Inspiration to a Nation collection, struck in gold-plated base metal with a proof-like finish. The obverse depicts a portrait of Sir Winston Churchill in high relief, facing right, holding a cigar and gesturing with the V for Victory sign. Inscriptions read SIR WINSTON CHURCHILL, WE SHALL NEVER SURRENDER, and the dates 1874-1965. Designer initials are present in the lower left field. The piece is housed in a clear protective capsule and accompanied by its original black presentation folder featuring a photograph of Churchill and the Union Jack.
Condition report:
Uncirculated condition. The medal exhibits no visible wear, toning, or surface marks. The capsule and presentation folder are well-preserved with very minor shelf wear to the card folder.
