The reverse bears a central eight-line inscription: ISSUED BY THE NATIONAL PLAYING FIELDS ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT H.R.H. THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH, flanked by four Tudor crowns. The maker’s mark PINCHES LONDON is embossed at the base of the reverse. The medal is struck in a yellow gold-toned gilt metal and is housed in its original red textured-paper presentation box with a purple flocked lining.

Condition report:

The medal is in very fine condition, retaining a bright surface lustre with minimal evidence of handling or contact marks. The original presentation box shows light shelf wear and minor fraying to the paper covering at the corners and hinges.
