This is an Idaho series 1/4 denomination Goldback gold foil note, containing 1/4,000th troy ounce of 24 carat gold. The note is manufactured by Goldback Inc. using Aurum vacuum deposition technology. The obverse design features the allegorical figure of Justitia (Justice) blindfolded, holding scales and a sword, set against a mountainous landscape. The note is printed with numerous security features and detailed text including IDAHO Goldback Negotiable Instrument and Privately Issued Not US Dollar Legal Tender. The lower text panel states: This Goldback Contains 1/4000th Troy Ounce 24K Gold Payable by Goldback Inc. in US Gold Coin to Bearer on Demand. The note is marked with the serial number AL13081, a 2026 date mark, and the AURUM manufacturer’s mark. The reverse shows a mirrored, high-luster gold finish which is a characteristic result of the proprietary production process.
