These include the maker mark V & S within a shield for Vaughtons Ltd, the lion passant indicating sterling silver, the anchor for the Birmingham Assay Office, and a lowercase date letter m.

Condition report:

The silver components exhibit surface tarnish and patination throughout, consistent with age. The red enamel is intact with no visible loss or cracking. The fabric ribbon shows significant fraying and wear to the edges and where it meets the suspension ring.
