A 1997 United Kingdom One Pound (£1) Brilliant Uncirculated coin, part of the regional series representing England, presented in its original Royal Mint illustrated folder. Struck in nickel-brass, the reverse depicts the Three Lions of England (lions passant guardant) within a shield, modelled by Norman Sillman from a drawing by the College of Arms. The obverse features the third portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Raphael Maklouf. The edge is inscribed with the Latin legend DECUS ET TUTAMEN, which translates as an ornament and a safeguard.

Condition report:
The coin is in brilliant uncirculated condition, retaining full original mint lustre with no signs of wear or handling. The presentation folder is intact with minor shelf wear and light creasing to the edges.
