A collection of United Kingdom cupro-nickel 50 pence coins from the commemorative series issued by the Royal Mint for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The collection includes various sporting motifs on the reverse faces, including archery, swimming, boxing, judo, shooting, wheelchair rugby, volleyball, goalball, cycling, athletics, fencing, tennis, and basketball. Each heptagonal coin incorporates the London 2012 logo and is inscribed with the denomination 50 PENCE. The coins are individually housed in clear plastic protective capsules. The obverse faces feature the fourth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley.
Condition report:
The coins appear to be in uncirculated to extremely fine condition, displaying high levels of original mint lustre and minimal surface contact marks. They are well-preserved within their protective plastic capsules.
