A brilliant uncirculated five pound commemorative coin issued by The Royal Mint to mark the 300th anniversary of the death of Queen Anne (1665-1714). The reverse, designed by Mark Richards FRBS, features a central portrait miniature of Queen Anne set within an ornate decorative frame with floral motifs and a heraldic shield. The legend around the border reads QUEEN ANNE DEI GRATIA 1665-1714. The obverse features the fourth definitive coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley FRBS. The coin is housed in its original illustrated presentation folder, which includes historical biographical text and a transcript of the Queen’s first speech to the English Parliament.
