A souvenir coin set from the Republic of Iraq, comprising a group of silver-toned base metal coins. The denominations included range from 5 Fils to 1 Dinar. The coins feature the Palm tree obverse and are housed in a decorative cardboard presentation mount titled ‘IRAQI COINS / SOUVENIR FROM IRAQ’. The mount features a pictorial timeline of Iraqi heads of state from 1921 to 2003 and the national emblem. The reverse of the mount displays illustrations of archaeological and modern landmarks.
Condition report:
The coins appear to be in uncirculated condition with original lustre. The card mount exhibits minor shelf wear and bumping to the corners. The clear plastic film shows surface wrinkling.
