A 1995 United Kingdom commemorative £2 coin struck by the Royal Mint to mark the 50th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations. The coin is composed of a nickel-brass alloy and is presented in its original tri-fold Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) display folder with a separate descriptive insert. The reverse features the Michael Rizzello design including the United Nations emblem and the inscription NATIONS UNITED FOR PEACE 1945-1995. The obverse carries the third definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Raphael Maklouf. The edge bears the incuse inscription 1945 MAY UNITED NATIONS SUCCEED 1995.
